Stockton-based North Eastern 4x4, which specialises in servicing, parts and diagnostics for Land Rover and BMW, has expanded its team by taking on its newly-qualified apprentice.
North Eastern 4x4 is delighted to have expanded its team by taking on its newly-qualified apprentice.
Jack Errington (21) from Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, completed his apprenticeship as a Motor Vehicle Technician with North Eastern 4x4 in conjunction with Hartlepool College of Further Education, achieving an Advanced Level Apprenticeship level 1-2-3 Diploma.
The team at North Eastern 4x4 was extremely impressed with Jack’s practical skills and attitude and have decided to employ Jack as a fully qualified Technician. The company will continue to invest in his training by putting him through a Land Rover Master Technician course at the Land Rover Technical Academy in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Similarly to Jack, James Grady (20) from Fishburn, is currently undergoing his apprenticeship as a Motor Vehicle Technician and will qualify in 2015.
James is completing his apprenticeship with New College Durham and was awarded the 2013 Motor Vehicle Apprentice of the Year by the college due to his impressive practical skills and ability.
On completion of his apprenticeship, North Eastern 4x4 is planning on employing James as a fully qualified Technician and will put him through the Land Rover Training Academy.

“Jack and James are important members of our team and are both really skilled and enthusiastic workers – working with them has been such a good experience that we’re hoping to take on another apprentice in the coming months.
Jack Errington said: “I’m thrilled to be permanently joining the team at North Eastern 4x4. Completing my apprenticeship has been a fantastic experience and I’ve learnt so much throughout my time here. I’m looking forward to passing my knowledge and skills on to other apprentices that are keen to work in the industry and join our team.”
James Grady said: “I’m really enjoying my apprenticeship at North Eastern 4x4. I’m continuously learning and enhancing my knowledge and skill-set and the team here is great. It would be fantastic to be kept on at the end of my four years here, which has been the ideal start to my career in the industry.”
